On multiplayer servers it can become quite hard to procure wings, and as time goes on it will become even harder.

We are not many players so this might be a non-issue for now, but surely accidents will happen, people will lose their wings, and in a few years it might be near impossible to find more wings, (lest the world size doesnt balloon)

A common way to get around this issue is to modify the ender dragon's loot table, adding a 100% guaranteed elytra wing drop.

This has a few

Solves problem of getting elytra wings over
Gives a bigger incentive to go through the ender dragon resurrection ritual (which currently literally only gives you dragon's breath (lingering potions), AND IT UNLOCKS ANOTHER END ISLAND PORTAL)
Gives an excuse for community gathering to fight the ender
Makes wings renewable.

We can balance it by adding a curse to the wings, maybe

Track how many times its been hit? (More hits, worse wings?)

Personally I feel like the wings shouldn't be better than what naturally found wings can be.

Custom names, less max durability, curses, with small chance to get them with enchantments, sure.

But I don't think more durability, unbreaking IV (not sure if possible), or even giving it armor toughness (i.e make it as much armor as diamond), is something we should be looking at.

Personally I feel like the wings shouldn't be _better_ than what naturally found wings _can_ be. Custom names, **less** max durability, curses, with small chance to get them with enchantments, sure. But I don't think _more_ durability, unbreaking IV (not sure if possible), or even giving it armor toughness (i.e make it as much armor as diamond), is something we should be looking at.
